When you wander, you carve a path in life that is uniquely you.
The pieces that are in my shop are created as I wander a bit and discover the joy and beauty of creating
That is where the name "The Wandering Creek" comes from. I am the Wandering Creek. (play on my name, Brooke)
It is my hope that the pieces in my shop and studio bring you joy and inspire you to wander a bit more.

About Brooke
I am Brooke Davies, owner and creative behind The Wandering Creek. A midwesterner through and through (ope-), I live on a farm in Indiana with my husband and three kids. My studio is a bright and airy space with large table inside a 1800s farmhouse. (aka my dining room table) My kids are often painting by my side.
I draw a lot of my inspiration from the Midwest, I love painting abstract and impressionistic landscapes of places that often get overlooked. I also have a deep love of traveling and exploring (when I’m able), and always have my camera ready to snap a landscape shot (or 10).
Creating simply brings me joy.
Fun facts about Brooke:
- I am an Enneagram 5w6 (to a T)
- I can knit and crochet
- My dream is to one day own a shop/studio space. (Maybe even one of those cool, modern motels)
- Brooke is actually my middle name, but I've always gone by it
